2-5 May 2025 Reunion and AGM North Devon

​

This year’s reunion is from 2-5 May and will be based in North Devon, with some online events. You will need to book in advance for all the in-person activities and some need menu choices to be made and payment in advance; you can just turn up to anything online. Booking forms and Zoom links will be emailed to all paid-up society members shortly, please check your junk folders. Non-members are welcome, please contact us for a booking form or for Zoom links.

Friday 2 May

10.00am-12.00 Virtual Chat

12.00-1.00pm Zoom talk ‘Farming in Victorian North-west Devon’ by Janet Few

2.00pm Meet in the carpark at the far end of Westbourne Terrace, Westward Ho! EX39 1LL to walk along the Burrows to the Pebble Ridge Café, Northam Burrows EX39 1XS (under two miles) or meet at the Café at 3.00pm.​

6.00pm for 6.30pm Evening Meal at The Bell, Rectory Lane, Parkham EX39 5PL.

Saturday 3 May​

10.15am Visit to Coldridge to learn about Devon’s connection to the Princes in the Tower, followed by a two course lunch. Coldridge Village Hall, near Crediton EX17 6AX. 

2.45pm A talk from the Folklore Library and Archive and a chance to look at their library at Crediton Library, Belle Parade, Crediton EX17 2AA.

6.30pm for 7.00pm Evening meal at Country Cousins, 3 Westbourne Terrace Westward Ho! EX39 1LL.

Sunday 4 May

11.00am Church Service at St Anne’s, Bucks Mills

12.30pm for 1.00pm Carvery lunch with vegetarian alternative at Merry Harriers, Woolfardisworthy, EX39 5QH. 

4.00pm Bucks Mills tour with Chris. Meet in Bucks Mills car park. 

8.00pm AGM online followed by virtual chat until 10.00pm

Monday 5 May

10.00am Bee-spoke tour of Quince Honey Farm, Aller Cross, South Molton EX36 3RD. This will include talks and activities not available to regular visitors.
